Tuition rates for instrumental lessons are based on
enrollment for the standard

for Instrumental Lessons
Typical Installment
Payment Schedule for
40-week
school year enrollment.
Payments consist of $100.00 non-refundable prepayment with
registration, followed by eleven equal installment
payments which are due on or before the
15th
of every month from August through June.

Tuition Calculations for Mid-Year Incoming Students
New students who register to begin lessons after the
onset of the
40-week
school year will pay tuition prorated according to
number of weeks remaining in the
40-week
school year. Weekly prorated amounts for this
purpose are listed below:

Tuition may be paid in full at
registration, otherwise the there will be an initial
payment due at registration, equal to the total
prorated tuition less the total amount of the
remaining installment payments (starting with the
month following registration), The one-time
administrative fee of $10 will be added to this
amount. Remaining tuition payments will be
made according to the normal installment schedule
(see above) for the duration of the school year.
Tuition Proration Example Scenario
In this scenario the
initial payment will be calculated to align the
remaining tuition balance with the standard
installment payment schedule, commencing with the
payment due in the month following the start of
lessons. The following example will illustrate a
typical case:

The student begins
lessons in the
4th week of October, which for this example
will be considered as week
9
of the school year.

The number of
weeks to be prorated is
32,
that is, 40
weeks total less
8
weeks already past.
The student’s
lesson length is
30 minutes, so the total tuition is
32 x $28.00 = $896.00.

Next, figure the
total amount of the remaining installment
payments, which is
8
payments (November–June) at $92.00
each, for a total of $736.00.

The initial
tuition payment then will be ($896.00 - $736.00) = $160.00, plus a one-time New
Student administrative fee of $10.00
for a total of $170.00

The parent will
begin making monthly installment payments of $92.00 beginning on November
15th and ending June
15th
Summer
Session Tuition Calculation
Additional summer lessons beyond the standard
40-week school calendar may be available at the
discretion of
individual teachers, and tuition will be
prorated using the same method as above.
Tuition for additional
summer lessons is payable in full at time of
registration.
